Myrtle V. Guiot was born June 13, 1916 in Concordia, Kansas to Fred and Adeline Myrtle Reeves Guiot.  She passed away on August 8, 2007 at Mount Joseph Senior Community, Concordia, Kansas at the age of 91.  She attended White Star Country School in Huscher, Kansas.  She was a lifetime resident of Concordia, and was a longtime resident of Mount Joseph Senior Community.  She worked as a aide at St. Joseph Hospital and Beverly Health Care in Concordia.  She also worked at Modern Cleaners in Concordia.  She is survived by a sister- Dorothy Holton, of Boise, ID; 6 Nephews- Earl Guiot and wife Liz of Wichita, KS; Leland Guiot, of Junction City, KS; Arlen Dean Snyder of New York; Merle Snyder of Missouri; Marvin Holton of Washington State; Fred Holton of Idaho; 2 nieces: Shirley Kerns of Oregon; Bonita Moore of Idaho; She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 nephews.  Graveside Services will be at 4:00PM Friday at Nelson Cemetery, Huscher, KS with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating.  Visitation will be from 9AM to 3PM Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made in Myrtle's honor to Mount Joseph Senior Community in care of the funeral home.
