Nancy Kay Keating, 48, died May 27, 2007 in Pasadena, CA. Nancy Kay Reed Cyre Keating was born April 11, 1959 at Concordia, KS to Harry "Buss" LeRoy and Frances Maxine "Maxine" (Hess) Reed. She received her education in area schools and lived in the area until early adulthood. She then moved to Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO, and Pasadena, CA. She first married Terry Cyre in 1974 in Concordia and secondly married Robert Keating in 1980 in Dallas, TX. Survivors include her son, Charles Cyre of Concordia,KS; one brother, Robert Reed and wife Juanice of Chandler, OK; four half-sisters, Illene Hess of Topeka, KS, Sandy Miller and husband Gerald of Glasco, KS, Jannice Krause of Central Point, OR, and Treva Starr and husband Richard of Grants Pass, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, one half-brother, Raymond Reed, and one half-sister, Jeanette Townsend. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.  There will be no visitation, the remains were cremated.  The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
