Nema A. Schneider, age 74, entered into rest on February 4, 2018 at the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas.  She was born in Atwood, Kansas on December 19, 1943 to Everett and Vivian (Agan) Barnhart.

She attended Atwood High School.

Nema married LeRoy Schneider on July 1, 1962 in Atwood, Kansas.

She was a homemaker and also co-owner of L & S Drywall.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and most of all spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband LeRoy Schneider, Jamestown, KS.; daughter, Tina M. Hardaway (Roger), Concordia, KS.; son, Steve Schneider (Deb), McDonald, KS.; 2 sisters, Irene Vap, Atwood, KS.; Margaret Tolliver (David), Center, CO.; 2 brothers, Merlin Barnhart (Shirley), Dewey, OK.; Neal Barnhart (Sharon), Santa Maria, CA.; 4 grandchildren, Garrett Peterson, Concordia, KS.; Nakita Schneider, KC, KS.; Bridgette Eggelson, Russell, KS.; Brendan Hardaway, Dickinson, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Dile and Rell Barnhart.

Cremation has taken place and a family graveside memorial service will be held at a later time at the Grace Cemetery in McDonald, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Nema A. Schneider memorial fund to establish a local memorial at a later date c/o Chaput-Buoy F.H.
