Nina K. Thoman-Adams, age 50, died Thurs., July 4, 2013 at Cloud County Health Center. She was born on Nov. 20, 1962 in Concordia, KS to Bob & Dianne (Demars) Thoman.

In her youth, Nina enjoyed growing up & helping on the farm. She graduated high school from Gibbon, NE and then Cloud County Community College. She was an administrative assistant/secretary at F&A, Pawnee Mental Health Services & a host of other places. Nina enjoyed riding motorcycles and participating in the Toy Runs & Poker Runs. She was especially fond of her cats, kittens & dog Jett.

She is survived by her mother, Dianne LaBonte, Aurora; son Derek Adams & Kaitlyn Dykes, Concordia; fiancé, Rex Ellsworth, Concordia; brother, Marty Thoman & wife Beth, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Bentley & Carter Adams, Concordia & niece & nephew, Lauren & Dillon Thoman, St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob; step-father, Jim LaBonte & grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tues., July 9, 2013 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow the services at St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora. Visitation will be from 10 am to 9 pm, Mon. with family greeting friends from 7-8 pm all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the O'Connor Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
