Norma Lee Price, 96 years of age, of Concordia passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Sunset Nursing Home in Concordia, Kansas.

She was born on October 16, 1929, in Hollis, Kansas to Gaylord and Fern (Larson) Campbell.

She was a 1947 graduate of Concordia High School. Norma went on to further her education at Cloud County Community College where she received her associates degree. She then received her bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in English Literature.

On February 18, 1948, she married Norman L. Price in Belleville, Kansas. To this union five children were born, David, Denton, Derald, Jolene and Dennis.

Norma taught in the English Education Department at Cloud County Community College for many years.

Her hobbies include cooking, reading, writing, sewing and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.

Norma is survived by her three sons, David Price of Concordia, KS, Derald (Sandra) Price of Eudora, KS; daughter, Jolene Selleck of Spooner, WI; Dennis (Christine) Price of Clyde, KS, 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, her parents, Gaylord & Fern Campbell, a son, Denton Price, a sister, Marilyn Goodwin, a brother, Jr. Campbell, a brother, Jack Campbell (Ruth), a brother, Bob Campbell (Linda), a brother, Frank Campbell (Myrna). Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas with Celebrant Samantha Stensaas officiating.

The burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Concordia.  There will be a meal served for family and friends at the American Legion Post #76 immediately following the Graveside service.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
