Otis G. Faulkner was born on January 28, 1915 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Otis S. & Lydia (Norberg) Faulkner. He passed from this life on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia at the age of 94. Otis graduated from high in Salina, KS. He married Elaine Lundstrom & she preceded him in death in June 1973. He later married Virginia (McHenry) Campbell on Jan. 26, 1974. Otis worked for Taylor Construction and Railway Express in Salina before working at Martin Tractor in Concordia in the parts department. Otis was a member of the Concordia Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife: Virginia Faulkner, Concordia, KS; step sons: David Campbell & wife Davena, Derby, KS & Richard Campbell & wife Lynette, Scandia, KS; sisters: Ruthie Denison, Salina, KS & Sandra Jenkins, Salina, KS; 4 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren & 10 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Karen Blomberg; son, Keith Faulkner; parents; grandson, Gary Faulkner; sisters, Arlone Yonavjak, Marie Schrag & Doris Gualtier & brothers, Glenn & Bill Faulkner. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thurs., Jan. 28, 2010 at Concordia Wesleyan Church with Pastors David Redmond & Bob Burns officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM, Wed., Jan. 27, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at the Roselawn Cemetery, Salina, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Concordia Wesleyan Church.
