Paul Wesley "Pete" Boll passed away from this life on Friday, July 18, 2008 at the age of 74.  He was born February 7, 1934 in Ames, Kansas to Archie and Emma Boll.  He graduated from Concordia High School in 1951.  As a boy he was very active in 4-H and raised Champion Guernsey dairy cattle which he would show at fairs.  During his high school years he helped his dad on the farm and worked for his brother at Boll's Dairy.  On May 18, 1952, he married Ava Garrison.  They lived in Topeka from 1953 to 1958 where he worked for Meadow Gold Dairy as a salesman. In 1958 they moved to Phoenix, AZ where he worked at Shamrock Foods in sales until 1993.  After retirement the move was made back to Concordia.  He drove the bus for the Senior Center for five years.  Pete enjoyed life and visiting with his friends.  He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  He watched all the sports in television.  He has fond memories of the Shamrock Golf Tournaments played years ago in Phoenix.  He enjoyed playing golf before his health deteriorated the last few years.  He is survived by his wife Ava of the home; daughters- Becky Call and husband Glen of Austin, Texas; and Brenda Boll of Concordia, Kansas; brother- Archie Boll of Concordia, Kansas; grandchildren: Brian Claridge and wife Jenny of Centennial, Colorado; Kevin Claridge, Phoenix, AZ; Hillary Call, Austin, TX; Great Grandchildren: Marisa & Hailey Claridge, Centennial, CO and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brother, 1 sister.  Funeral services will be at 1:30PM Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. David J. Redmond, officiating.  Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 7-8PM.  Cremation will follow funeral services.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Wesleyan Church Building Fund or Concordia Senior Center.
