Pauline Elizabeth Cyr, 66 of Clyde, died March 15, 2009 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS. She was born October 23, 1942 in Clyde to Rex and Betty (Boling) Swihart, Sr. Pauline married Gail Cyr on June 1, 1968 in Belleville, KS. She worked as assistant Librarian at the Randolph-Decker Library in Clyde for over 16 years. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist church, Clyde and the women's Auxiliary for VFW Post 7515, Clyde. Survivors include her daughters, Claudelle Wedel and husband Dave of Lyons, KS, Terry Chartier and husband Brett of Ottawa, KS, and Gail Wolf and husband Jess of Omaha, NE; sons Charles and wife Denise and Todd and wife Faye all of Clyde, KS; sister Sue Nelson and husband Richard, Formoso, KS; brothers Rex Swihart, Jr. and wife Audrey, Mike Swihart and wife Jolene all of Concordia, and Arlan Swihart and wife Carla, Rio Rancho, NM; 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gail on March 4, 2009; a son Ken, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde, Kansas with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. Rosary will be Tuesday, March 17 at 7:30pm at Chapel Mortuary, Clyde, KS.
