Pauline "Polly" Marie LaBarge was born on February 13, 1921 to Marie Weller Barker. She passed from this life on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Mt. Joseph Senior Community in Concordia, Kansas at the age of 86. She graduated from Concordia High School. She married Raymond J. LaBarge on June 29, 1943 at Concordia, KS. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1994. She and her husband owned and operated restaurants in and around the Concordia area for 30 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Concordia. She has been a resident of Mt. Joseph Senior Community since January 2003. She is survived by her cousin Katherine Burt of Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2007. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia, Kansas. The family suggests memorials to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Building Fund.
