Pauline G. Mason was born on May 11, 1953 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Marlin E. and Donna M. Simpson Hill. She passed from this life on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson, Kansas at the age of 54.  She lived in Sheridan, WY, Newberg, OR and Casper, WY.  She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, WY in 1971. She moved to Concordia, KS in1972. She married Richard Mason on June 8, 1973 in Concordia, KS. She owned and operated The Bicycle Barn in Concordia since 1985 and was a friend to everyone. She was a 4-H leader. She and Richard enjoyed spending their winters in Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her husband, Richard, Concordia, KS; sons, Russell Mason, Phoenix, AZ and Randy Mason, Flagstaff, AZ; mother and stepfather, Donna Woodcock and Hus. Jack, Alcova, WY; sister, Patty Leekley, Newport Beach, OR; brothers, Mike Hill, Casper, WY, Carl Hill, Casper, WY and Martin Hill and wife Sheri, Green River, WY; mother in law, Pearl Mason, Concordia, KS; brother in law, Raymond Mason and wife Lori, Concordia, KS and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin; brother, Charlie Hill; nieces, Shaily and Heide Hill and a nephew, J.D. Hill. A Celebration of Pauline's Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. The body was cremated and friends may sign the register book from 9 AM to 9 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 7-8 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Pauline Mason Memorial for Local Youth Activities.
