Peggy (Snavely) Zachary, age 55, of Concordia, passed away on Sat., March 24, 2018 surrounded by her family at the parent's residence in rural Concordia.  She was born on March 17, 1963 in Concordia, KS to Armand C. & Jane (Hay) Snavely.

She graduated from Concordia High School.  She married Rocky Zachary on Feb. 14, 1997 in Concordia, KS and he survives the home.  Peggy worked several office jobs, ending at KNCK radio, when her health would no longer permit her to work.

Peggy fought a lifelong battle with heart problems.  Through all the surgeries and other issues, doctors and nurses were always impressed with her spirit and attitude.  She was determined to keep fighting and never give up or give in!

She is survived by her husband, Rocky, Concordia; her parents, Armand & Jane Snavely, Concordia; brother, Mike Snavely (Lisa), Concordia; nephew, Keaton Snavely (Whitney), Concordia; niece, Cortney Stupka (Micah), Ruskin, FL & 4 great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

It was Peggy's wishes to be cremated and a Memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sat., March 31, 2018 at the Huscher United Methodist Church, Huscher, with Pastor Scott Tempero officiating.  Burial of the cremains will be private and at a later date in the Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher.  Friends may sign the register book from 8 am to 5 pm, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice or the American Heart Assoc. in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com .
