Phillip R. Plush, age 72, entered into rest on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at his residence in Concordia, Kansas with his family by his side. He was born on June 13, 1949 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Glenn and Olive (Fouts) Plush.
Phillip attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Phillip was united in marriage to Kathleen Anne Mexin on August 31, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To this union 5 children were born, Phillip, Michael, Denise, Amanda and Nicholas. Phillip and Kathleen recently celebrated 53 years of marriage together this past August.
He was a Foreman for the City of Colorado Springs Gas Division. Phil also worked for the D.O.E. in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, puzzles, playing cards and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Kathy of the home in Concordia, son, Phil Plush (Chrissy), Ellicott, CO; Mike Plush, Concordia, KS; Denise Thomas (Steven), Jamestown, KS; Amanda Morfin (Tim), Grand Junction, CO; Nick Plush (Brooke), Grand Junction, CO; 13 grandchildren, Koral (Hus. Fuller), Nathan, Armando, Anthony, Dominick, Gavin, Takota, Skylar, Lindsey, JoAnn, Isabelle, Jasmine, Trystan; 3 great-grandchildren, Brayton, Alana, Kase; 1 brother, Thomas Plush (Betty), Colorado Springs, CO; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Olive, 1 sister, 3 brothers.
Phillip's wishes were to be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
