R. Virginia Huscher Hathorne, age 86, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at the Kansas City Hospice House, KC, MO.  She was the daughter of Jesse & Mildred (Henderson) Huscher.  She is survived by her children; Gayle Hathorne, Shawnee, KS; Husch Hathorne-Cantil, Anchorage, AK; Nancy Hathorne, Jersey City, NJ; David Hathorne, Portland, OR and 4 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hathorne and daughter Regina Hathorne.  Interment was at Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher on Aug. 12, 2011.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Friends may sign the register book from 9 AM to 5 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Sunset Nursing Home or Kansas City Hospice in care of the funeral home.
