Rachel M. (Sager) Douglas, age 74, died Thurs, Nov. 15, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center , Concordia, surrounded by her family. Rachel was born in Vining, KS to Loyd & Cordelia (Bouley) Sager on May 23, 1938. Rachel married Robert Douglas on May 26, 1956. One of Rachel's greatest loves was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Robert, Clyde ; sons, Darrell & wife Maria, Wichita & Bradley & partner Michael Jacobs, KC, MO; daughter, Shirley Slansky & husband Brian Hastings, NE; 6 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; sister; son, Brian; grandson, Jeremy; great grandson, Christian and a nephew, Loch . The family selected cremation and Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 am, Mon., Nov. 19 at Mt. Hope Cemetery , Clyde with Rev. Anita Strommen officiating. There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice or Breast Cancer Awareness in care of the funeral home.
