Randy J. Mick, age 54, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita. He was born on June 21, 1959 in Beloit, KS to Conrad & Ann (Thummel) Mick.

He graduated from Waconda East High School in 1977 & later from Cloud County Community College. He married Marcia Charbonneau on Sept. 1, 1979 at Concordia, KS. He worked as a custodian at Concordia High School and later, Randy cherished his time at home as a father to his daughter, Amy. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church & the Thursday Night Cruiser's Car Club in Salina.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; daughter, Amy Mick & fiancé, Ryan Strahley, Junction City; brothers, Gene Mick & wife Linda, Glen Elder & Lee Mick & wife Denelle, Cawker City; sisters, Rita Moritz, Cawker City & Marilyn Mills & hus. Dan, Gorham; father in law, Marshall Charbonneau, Concordia; sisters in law, Marian Condray & hus. Kent, Clifton, Michelle Guevara, Concordia & Melanie Germann & hus. Greg, Clifton; many nieces, nephews, cousins & a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Gilbert Greiner; brother, Richard Mick; sisters, Millie Mick, Lois Otto & Betty Hilgers & mother in law, Mary Charbonneau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Wed., Sept. 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am to 9 pm with a Vigil service at 6:00 pm, Tues., Sept. 17 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Randy J. Mick Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
