Ray Laverne Kircher was born May 6, 1937 in Miltonvale, Kansas to George and Wilma Wilkins Kircher.  He passed away from this life on February 1, 2008 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas at the age of 70.  He graduated from Miltonvale High School.  He married Judy Green on October 18, 1958 in Idana, Kansas.  He was a meat cutter for Boogaarts for over 40 years.  He loved his grandchildren and golf.  He was a member of the American Legion Golf Course and the First United Methodist Church, of Concordia, Kansas.  He is survived by his wife Judy Kircher, Concordia, Kansas; Daughter: Tonya Cogan and husband Marc, El Dorado, Kansas; Sons: Mike Kircher and wife Sara, Andover, Kansas; and Mark Kircher and wife Tonya, Hoisington, Kansas; 6 grandchildren: Jason and Joshua Cogan, El Dorado, Kansas; Tanner and Dylan Kircher, Andover, Kansas; Hanna and Haley Kircher, Hoisington, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Services will be at 10:00AM Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sandra K. Moore officiating.  Visitation will be 9AM to 9PM Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6PM to 8PM.  Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Delphos, Kansas.  Family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church, Concordia, Kansas.
