Raymond L. Petry, 63 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012. He was born on January 31, 1949 in Concordia to Francis and Eleanor (Collins) Petry. Raymond was a dishwasher at the Cloud County Health Center for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and helping with Bea's Kids, horses, the outdoors and farming, going to yard sales, and NASCAR as he was a huge fan of both Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Raymond will be remembered as always having a high five and a smile for everyone.

Raymond is survived by his son, Larry Petry of Concordia; 2 step daughters, June and Misty; 2 sisters, Joyce Friesen, Penny Petry; 4 brothers, Clifford Petry, Leroy Bulleigh, Joe Petry, Lee Petry; mother in law, Irene Lapaille of Jewell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and Larry's mother, Mariette Lapaille.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Rev. Dean Frazier officiating. Private inurnment will be in the West Branch Cemetery . A register book will be available to sign from 9 AM to 5 PM Friday, November 9, 2012 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to Solomon Valley Hospice or the Cloud County Health Center Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
