Rex Orlan Young, Sr., age 59, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.  He was born on June 14, 1960 in Beloit, Kansas to Wilden and Betty (Aldrich) Young.

Rex was a graduate of Waukegan HS in Waukegan, Illinois.

He married Mona Renee Pearl Ward and they later divorced.

Rex was a mechanic working for several companies including Jiffy Lube.

He loved playing the Guitar, fishing, camping, racing, and bartering with friends.

Rex is survived by his daughter, Sheree Murdoch, Salina, KS; son, Rex Young, Jr., Parker, CO; Mother, Betty Havens, Concordia, KS; sisters, Trina McDonnor, Concordia, KS; Frances Jamison, Concordia, KS; brother, James Harold Young, Sr., Larned, KS; several grandchildren, a host of friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilden and sister, Janet Marie Young-Criffield.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
