Rhelda M. Ackerman, age 68, of Miltonvale, KS, at Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina, KS on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

She was born on November 6, 1956 in Wamego, KS to Richard R. & Ardith M. (Marshall) Jarvis.

She married Jim Kelsey and to this union a son was born, Joseph.  She later married Michael Roudybush, they later divorced. She married to Don Ackerman who preceded her in 2022.

Rhelda worked as a para-educator and worked in local greenhouses and sewing factories.

In her spare time Rhelda enjoyed gardening, fishing and kayaking and just hanging out with family and friends.

Rhelda is survived by her son, Joseph Kelsey (Crystal), Miltonvale, KS; granddaughters, Sheyenne & Emily Kelsey; sisters, Nancy Niedfeldt (Dale), Wamego & Shelly Weeks, Louisville; brothers, Rick Jarvis, Howard, George Jarvis, St. George & Russell Jarvis, Miltonvale and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Danny W. Jarvis, husband, Don Ackerman, sister in law, Penny Jarvis & brother in law, Roger Weeks.

It was Rhelda's wish to be cremated and the family will have a burial service on Sept 13th at 11am at the Louisville Cemetery, Louisville, KS. Lunch to follow at the Louisville gym.
