Elric L. "Rick" Breault was born on April 9, 1939 in Aurora, KS to Alphonse & Leona (Marcotte) Breault. He passed from this life on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia at the age of 70. Rick enjoyed many occupations in his life, which included owner/operator of the Apco Service Station, activities bus driver for Cloud Co. Community College, a car salesman for many years and most recently a farmer and rancher. Rick married Donna Schmidt on Dec. 28, 1964 in Beatrice, NE. He is survived by his wife: Donna Breault, Concordia, KS; sons:Kyle Schmidt, Concordia, KS & Pfc. Rick Breault, Jr., who is presently serving in Afghanistan; daughters: Lynn (Jim) Weaver, Concordia, KS & Kelley (James) Kemmerer, Concordia, KS; sisters: Delores (Larry) Judd, Spokane, WA, Annabell (Marvin) Kogler, Salina, KS, Dora (Larry) Cottam, Salina, KS, & Geri (Richard) Scott, Moundridge , KS; brothers: Bernard (Wilma) Breault, Aurora, KS & Darrell (Meda) Breault, Salina, KS; grandchildren: Summer (Michael) Popelka, Tonganoxie, KS, Carady (Felix) Pacheco, Houston, TX, Nicole Schmidt, Olathe, KS, Lucas & Molly Schmidt, Concordia, KS, Cpl. Eli McKee, San Diego, CA, Ethan & Mariah McKee & Tegan Small, Frankfort, KS; 5 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Mon., April 5, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, KS with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-8 PM Sat. & Sun. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7 PM, Sun. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher, KS. The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hopsice in care of the funeral home.
