Rita married William Sanders on March 4, 1957 and 4 children were born to this union. He preceded her on March 10, 1973.
She married Howard Neff on April 12, 1975 and one child was born to this union.
She married William Lutz on Jan. 26, 1987 and he preceded her on Feb. 15, 1996.
She was a homemaker and co-owner of 81 Market.
Rita was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was a fixture at all the luncheons and dinners at the church.
Rita enjoyed playing cards, attending various clubs and being with friends & family. Rita was an active grandmother and enjoyed watching her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Weir, Courtland & Shelly Haskins (James), Formoso; sons, Donald Sanders, Canon City, CO & Mark Neff (Sarah), Wamego; sisters, Verona Perret (Gilbert), Concordia & Joyce Lambert (Pat), Clyde; sisters in law, Rita Collette, Concordia, Betty Kramer, Topeka, Berris "Pooch" Gregg, Manhattan, Lois Lutz, Hays & Eileen Gundelfinger, Marysville; brothers in law, Ed Lutz, St. George, KS, Leo Sanders (Kate), Baileyville & Joe E. Sanders, Havensville; grandchildren, Nickie & Randy Weir, Courtney Bobby (Nick), Corey & Kyle Haskins, Derek & Dustin Sanders & Emily & Eli Neff & great grandchildren, Jacob & Emma Bobby.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Sanders & William Lutz; son, Randy; parents & brothers, Lee & Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM, Tues., June 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 9 PM, Mon, June 18 with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 PM and Vigil Service at 6:30 PM all at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to American Diabetes Assoc. or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
