Robert William Alley, age 62, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas.  He was born on March 19, 1960 in Salina, Kansas to Colonel Gerald W. and Rosemary (Karlin) Alley.

He was a 1978 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Salina, Kansas.  He attended Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, Kansas.

He worked in various occupations throughout his life starting out as a pipefitter and Fire Safety Inspector.  Robert was also a Deputy for the Mitchell County Sheriff's Department.  He also worked for F&A Food Service after acquiring his CDL and Hazmat endorsement.  He worked for 24-7 Fuel Delivery Service.  Bob was employed by Cloud County Health Center, Concordia in the Environmental Services & Food Service until his retirement.

Bob loved his dogs, horses, cars, motorcycles, and listening to music. Bob loved to make people laugh & smile. He had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Jochum, Salina, KS; his soul mate best friend, Arleen Alley, Delphos, KS; four sisters, Coleen Atwood, Ft. Morgan, CO; Janine Martens (Jim), Salina, KS; Lisa James (Kyle), Salina, KS; Tracy Kalkman (Bob), Arvada, CO; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Colonel Gerald W. Alley, and his step-father Edward Jochum.

The family has selected cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
