Robert Provost, age 70, died Fri., Dec. 14, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center , Concordia. He was born on July 31, 1942 on the Provost family farm by St. Joseph , KS to Jed & Cecilia (Schlageck) Provost. He attended Beaver Creek country school and graduated from Clyde High School . Robert was a lifetime area resident and an area farmer and stockman since age 15. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church & the Knights of Columbus. Robert had a passion for the land and farming and was a friend to all who knew him. Robert is survived by his wife, Mavous, Clyde; daughter, Michelle Charbonneau (Patrick), Aurora; son, Roger (Maria), Clyde; brother, Richard (fiance Marge Zidek), Clyde; sister, Jolene Bailey (Joe), Leavenworth ; grandchildren, Rebecca & Paige Charbonneau & Dillon Provost . He was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Wed, Dec. 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Brinkman & Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. The family selected cremation to follow the services and private family burial will be at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph, KS at a later date. Visitation will be from 9 am to 9 pm with a vigil service at 6:30 pm Tues. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc. & Clyde Ambulance Fund in care of the funeral home.
