Rodney A. Cart was born on January 10, 1947 in St. Francis, KS to Don and Allyne O'Leary Cart.  He passed from this life at his home in Concordia, KS on July 16, 2008 at the age of 61.  H e graduated from Concordia High School in 1966. He attended KSU and then joined the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was a sales rep. for several years for Blue Cross & Blue Shield. He then became a Senior Executive for MedPlan and later worked as the COO for Healthcare America. He was a member of American Legion Post #76 and VFW Post #588.  He is survived by a son, Scott Cart and wife Sheila, Olathe, KS; daughters, Tiffany Cart and Mike Archibald, Olathe, KS and Angela Hook and husband Josh, Gardner, KS; grandchildren, Kaylee and Marissa Cart, Olathe, KS and Jacob and Maxwell Archibald, Olathe, KS; a sister, Lyndell Charbonneau and husband Gary, Webber, KS; niece, Wendy Charbonneau, Amherst, NE and a nephew, Rusty Charbonneau, Superior, NE.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral services will be held at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating.  Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM Friday with the family receiving friends from 7-8 PM Friday, July 18, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #76 and VFW Post #588.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Rod Cart Memorial Fund.
