Ronal D. LaBarge, 89 years of age, of
Aurora

Kansas
passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 12, 2011. He was born at R. Clyde on March 24, 1922 to Homer and Aldea (Hamel) LaBarge. Ronal graduated from
Clyde
High School
. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII from 1942 – 1945. He was in the North African Conflict where he then ended his tour in
Italy
. Ronal married Henrietta Schuetz on August 18, 1951 at Sequin,
Kansas
. They lived on a farm until 1963 when they moved to
Aurora
.
Ronal is survived by a daughter, Janel Jordan of Clyde; four sons, Stephen and Jo LaBarge of Miltonvale, David and Karen LaBarge of Clovis, NM, John LaBarge, Jason LaBarge, both of Little Elm, TX; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jim and Marlys LaBarge of Concordia, Patrick LaBarge of Miltonvale; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son, Dennis; and two sisters, Maxine Gray and Mary Marcotte.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 in the St. Peter's Catholic Church in
Aurora
with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Interment will be in the St. Peter's
Catholic
Cemetery
,
Aurora
with Military Rites being done by the Clyde VFW Post #7515. The body will lie in state from 9 – 9 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 with a vigil service being held at 6:30 PM and the family greeting friends following the vigil service until 8 PM at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials may be left to the church or the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
