Rosalea A. Magaw was born on April 21, 1952 in Concordia, KS to Warren S. & Myrtle A. (Jones) Magaw. She passed from this life on Wed., March 9, 2011 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS at the age of 58. Rosalea grew up in the Concordia area. She graduated from Concordia High School and Cloud County Community College with an Associates in Business. She worked as a receptionist and in records at the Gelvin-Haughey Clinic until disability forced her to retire. She was a member of the Concordia Wesleyan Church. Rosalea is survived by a cousins: Rosalie Maginness & family, Concordia, KS & Betty Harrington & family; all of her special friends: Lynn Weaver, Kim Sprague, Carolyn & Ron Gendre, David & Mary Snowbarger, Everett & Joan Palmer, Bob & Pat Burns, Lori Adam , Alice Walker & Carol Girard. She was preceded in death parents; uncle, Walter Jones & aunt, Nellie Mae Maginness. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tues., March 15, 2011 at the Concordia Wesleyan Church with Rev. David J. Redmond & Pastor Bob Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 5 PM, Mon., March 14, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at the Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Gideon's International in care of the funeral home.
