Ruth Doyle, age 86, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Via Christi – St. Francis, Wichita, KS.  She was born on Dec. 12, 1933 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to John "Jack" H. & Blanche (Hartwell) McMahon.

Ruth worked for American Greeting Cards as a merchandiser for over 26 years.  She married Arlan B. Doyle on Jan. 25, 1969.   He preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1997.  She was a member of the Concordia American Legion Aux.

She is survived by her sons, Steve, Norton & Jim, Brighton, CO; sister, Helen Ham, Cobourg, Ontario, Canada; brother, John McMahon, Cayuga, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, James, MacKenna, Shanna, Owen & Dylan Doyle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlan; her parents and a sister, Marie Douglas.

It was Ruth's wishes to be cremated and not to hold a formal service.  She wanted to have a good 'ole fashioned 'wake' service at the Concordia American Legion Post #76, Concordia where family and friends could fellowship.  Due to the current situation, the family plans to hold this event at a later date in 2021.  The family suggests memorials to the American Legion Post #76 Youth Activities in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
