Samuel P. Castle was born September 27, 1921 in Nippa, Kentucky.  He passed from this life on December 19, 2007 at Cloud County Health Center at the age of 86.  He was a mechanic.  Survivors include his daughter: Cheryl Spousta and Husband Larry, of Salina, Kansas; and a grandson Thomas Randall.  He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.  Graveside services will be at 10:00AM Friday, December 21, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.  There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #76 and VFW Post #588.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sunset Nursing Home.
