Scott Athelstan Champlin was born November 1, 1983 to Gary and Jill Kocher Champlin.  He passed away from this life on Septermber 28, 2007 at the age of 23.  He graduated from Concordia High School.  He married Stacie LeClaire on March 19, 2004 at Concordia, KS.  He worked for Cloud Ceramics.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Concordia, KS.  H e enjoyed spending time with his daughter and family. He is survived by his wife Stacie Champlin and his daughter: Kiana Champlin, both of the home; Father and step-mother: Gary and Debra Champlin, Concordia, KS; Mother: Jill Blochlinger, Concordia, KS; Sisters: Shanell Mergerson and husband Laramie, Norfolk, VA and Summer Champlin, Concordia, KS; Step-Brother: Matt Conwell, Topeka, KS; Step-Brother: Joe Blochlinger, Concordia,KS; Step-Sister: Kelly Conwell, Lenexa, KS; Step-Sister: Kaylee Conwell, Concordia, KS; Step-Sister: Jessica Blochlinger, Topeka, KS; Grandparents: Ron and Susan Champlin, Concordia, KS; Grandmother: Helen Kocher, Concordia, KS; Great Grandmother: Mary LeDuc, Clyde, KS; Step-Grandparents: Pat and Joyce Lambert, Clyde, KS; Step-Grandmother: Verlene Blochlinger, Concordia, KS.  He was preceded in death by his Step-father- Tony Blochlinger; Grandfather- George Kocher; Step-Grandparents: Delbert and Ann Lintz; Uncle- Shaun Champlin.  Services will be at 10:00AM Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sandra Moore officiating.  Visitation will be 9 AM to 9 PM Monday, October 1, 2007, with family receiving friends from 7 PM to 8 PM at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.  Memorials may be made to the Kiana Champlin Educational Fund.
