Shane Robert Hoesli was born on March 28, 1989 in Concordia, KS to Robert & Colleen (Kelly) Hoesli. He passed from this life on Wed., Aug. 11, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK at the age of 21. Shane graduated from Clifton-Clyde High School in 2007. During high school, Shane was active in all sports. After graduation, Shane attended Cloud County Community College and then attended Tulsa Welding School. Shane worked as a welder for Gerard Tank & Steel in Concordia, KS. Shane loved to play sports, video games and enjoyed his friends and family. Shane is survived by his parents: Robert & Colleen Hoesli, Clyde, KS; sisters: Sheena Thrasher (Kevin), Clyde, KS & Sheryl Breault (Bradyn), Topeka, KS; grandmothers: Gevine Hoesli, Clyde, KS & JoAnn Kelly, Derby, KS; niece & nephew: Haley & Levi Thrasher, Clyde, KS; nephew: Keygan Breault, Topeka, KS & a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, LaRoy Hoesli & John Kelly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Mon., Aug. 16, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, KS with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-5 PM Sun, Aug. 15, 2010 at Chaput Mortuary and after 6 PM at the church. A vigil service will be held at 7 PM, Sun. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Shane Hoesli Memorial Fund to be designated later in care of the funeral home.
