Sharon Kay Henderson was born on May 15, 1941 in Concordia, KS to Howard K. and Jackie McCann Lanoue. She passed from this life on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 at the age of 67 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. She attended Concordia High School. She married William "Bill" Henderson on Feb. 1, 1959 in Concordia, KS. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2007. She worked for several years at Cloud County Community College in the Guidance Office, while she and Bill operated the Montgomery Wards Store and later Henderson sales for 15 years. She graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1994 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Registered Nurse since her graduation at various hospitals and clinics until she retired about a month ago. She is survived by her sons, Bryan Henderson and wife Georgia, Hutchinson, KS, Brad Henderson and wife Meg, Brush, CO and Bruce Henderson, Bison, KS; brothers, Gary Lanoue and wife Marcia, Salina, KS and Larry Lanoue, Sr., Concordia, KS; grandchildren, Monique, William and Jessica Henderson and Kelsey Larson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wed., Oct. 15, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM Tues., Oct. 14, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
