Shirley I. Danielson, age 89, Concordia resident, entered into rest on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Mount Joseph Senior Village. She was born on September 18, 1928 at Cheyenne County, Kansas to Orville R. and Stella D. (Murray) Nelson.

Shirley attended Cheyenne County Schools.

She was a member of Eagles Club in Belleville and American Legion in Concordia.

Shirley was owner operator of Sunflower Grocery and she later moved into Antiques and Restoration.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, crafting, dancing and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was married to Robert Roe Danielson.

Shirley is survived by her 2 daughters, Vanessa Moore, Concordia, KS.; Paulette Danielson (JR Trahan), Topeka, KS.; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her, husband Robert, parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Belleville Cemetery, with Pastor Doug Dayton officiating.
