Shirley Mae Hileman (Young) (Winter), age 82, of Concordia, KS, left this earthly life on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, KS.  She was born on Sept. 14, 1936 Clay Center, Kansas to Samuel Dewey and Nora Mable (Liby) Hileman.

She was a homemaker most of her life raising her 8 children.

Shirley enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and most of all she loved kids.

Shirley is survived by her granddaughter Jennifer K. Rozean, Concordia; 4 sons Robert Young, Greenleaf, Ks; Lance Young, Washington State; Cliff Young, California; Chuck Young, Clifton; 4 daughters Chloe Young, Topeka; Regena Johnson, Topeka; Elizabeth Squires, Salina; Sherry Rogge, Greenleaf, KS; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Dewey and Nora Mable (Liby) Hileman, seven sisters, four brothers, and two great-grandchildren.

It was Shirley's wishes to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12-4 PM at the Concordia Resource Center, Concordia, KS.
