Tara LeeAnn Hansen was born on May 30, 1986 in Salina, KS to Russell & Lisa (Atherton) Jones. She passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS at the age of 22. Tara attended schools in Concordia. She married Brad Hansen on April 9, 2005 in Concordia. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother of her children. Tara is survived by her husband, Brad Hansen, Concordia, KS; daughters, Heather Hansen, Concordia, KS & Harlee Hansen, Concordia, KS; son, Lane Hansen, Concordia, KS; parents, Russell & Lisa Jones, Concordia, KS; brother, Kyle Jones & Brittney Dorman, Jamestown, KS;  grandparents, Gale & Sue Atherton, Topeka, KS & Wayne Jones, Salina, KS; great grandparents, Pauline Cales, Winfield, KS & Rozelle & Maxine Atherton, Auburn, KS; parents in law, Dennis & Melba Hansen, Belleville, KS; brother in law, Brandon & Tiffany Hansen, Belleville, KS; sister in law: Stacie & Mike Cottenmyre, Belleville, KS; nephew, Reese Jones, Jamestown, KS & nieces & nephew, Michelle, Miranda & Mikel Cottenmyre, Belleville, KS. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Jones; & great grandfather, Ralph Cales. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, Concordia with Rev. Sandra K. Moore & Randy Whitley officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Zion Cemetery, Talmo. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM, Thurs. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. The family requests memorials to the Heather, Harlee and Lane Hansen Memorial Fund.
