Terri Lynn Myers, 53 years of age, of Concordia, KS, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her home.  She was born on September 17, 1970, in Belleville, Kansas, to James "Jimmy" Kenneth and Karen Kay (Cherney) Myers.

She graduated from Concordia High School in 1990.  She participated in the OCCK workshop for many years.  Terri had a zest for life and adventure that was contagious.  She was known for her ability to persevere through the most difficult circumstances.  After her diagnosis, she purchased tickets to a Shania Twain concert.  She will be missed by all those who knew her well.

She is survived by her sister, Cindy Myers, Lenexa, KS; her brother, Brian Myers, West Virginia; and several caregivers at OCCK that she considered family.

She was preceded by her parents, Jimmy Myers and Karen Davison; her step-parents, Betty Myers and Grant Davison; infant sister, Tammy Myers; and grandparents, Marvin & Thelma Cherney and Harold & Florence Myers.

It was Terri's wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, KS, with Pastor Tiffany Flanagan officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Union Cemetery, Wayne, KS, at a later time. Friends may sign the register book from 8 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorials to OCCK, Inc., or Meadowlark Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
