Theresa Marcotte Spore was born on June 27, 1950 in Concordia, KS to Francis & Dorothy (Schrandt) Marcotte. She passed from this life on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO at the age of 59. Theresa graduated from Concordia High School in 1968. She married Dan McManigal on April 19, 1969. Theresa worked as a secretary for the IRS for 22 years. Theresa later married Guy J. (Jeff) Spore on May 29, 1998 in Eureka Springs, AR. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Springfield, MO. Theresa enjoyed cooking, entertaining guests, music, exercise, outdoor activities, breast cancer walks & fundraisers & especially spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Guy J. Spore, Springfield, MO; daughter: Debora May & husband Jason, Pratt, KS; son: Dan McManigal, Jr. & wife Jolene, Louisburg, KS; brother: Mike Marcotte, Aurora, KS; sisters: Beverly Collette & husband Don, Kansas City, MO, Janice Hattan & husband Greg, Concordia, KS, Jeanette Deneault & husband Don, Concordia, KS & Janell Goedert & husband Joe, Ottawa, KS; parents in law: Wayne & Juanita Spore, Plainville, KS; grandchildren: Hayden, Grant & Grace May, Pratt, KS & Ashlyn & Colin McManigal, Louisburg, KS; nieces & nephews: Terra Revell, Christina Hamlin, Jeremy, Jacob, Amber, Shawn & Stacy Marcotte, Amy LeClair, Cherie Scott, Jenee Collette, Christal Widman, Justin & Jennifer Hattan, Dustin, Nick, & Christa Deneault, Stephanie Hays, Jared, Keaton, Corbin & Connor Goedert, Amy Buggenhagen & Scott & Megan Johnston. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wed.,March 10, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM with a Rosary service at 6:30 PM, Tues., March 9, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Alcoholics Anonymous in care of the funeral home.
