Thomas Wayne Trower of Ingelside OTB, TX was born November 25, 1948, in Concordia, KS, to Nelda L. Lisher and Daniel Wayne Trower.  He died March 18, 2011 at Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK of a heart attack at the age of 62.  He attended Concordia public schools and graduated from Kansas State University, B.A. and Emporia state University, M.S.  He served in the Vietnam war (conflict) as a draftee with the 101st airborne.  He retired from theU.S. Postal Service and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Ralph Hargis.  He is survived by brothers William B. Trower and William W. Hargis and their children. The family has chosen cremation and Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. David Strommen officiating. Friends may sign the register book from  8 AM to 5 PM, Monday, April 18, 2011 at the funeral home.  Burial of the cremains will follow the memorial services at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS with military honors by American Legion Post #76 & VFW Post #588.  A reception will be held following the services at the 19th Hole, formerly the Concordia Country Club.  Tom never met a stranger and the family would like and appreciate everyone to attend and remember him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor's choice in Thomas' honor.
