Tom Fisher, 84 years of age, of Concordia passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his residence surrounded by family in Concordia, Kansas. He was born on September 23, 1941, in Concordia, Kansas to Clifford and Juanita (Brummett) Fisher.

He attended Concordia High School until he enlisted in the Navy.

Tom married Sondra Gentry, November 2, 1963. They enjoyed 61 years together.

He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and American Bowling Association.

Tom worked for the City of Concordia and was the Manager of the Street Department for 35 plus Years.

He enjoyed Fishing, Camping, Bowling, Wood Working, watching his kids and Grandkids play sports, spending time with family and KU Basketball.

Tom is survived by his wife Sondra Fisher of the home; two daughters, Tina Beaumont (Pete), Michele Hake (Randy), both of Concordia, KS; son, Mike Fisher, Salina, KS; a brother, David Fisher of Jamestown, KS; Miranda (Jimmy) Morrissey, Jacksonville, FL, Garett (Kelci) Hake, Concordia, KS, Megan (Kyle) Cherney, Concordia, KS, Ashley (Shelby) Hagen, Concordia, KS, Brent (Julie) Beaumont, Salina, KS, along with several nephews, nieces and 13 Great Grand Kids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Juanita (Brummett) Fisher, a brother, Jackie Fisher, Sr., three sisters, Sue Lynn, Loretta Fisher, Patty Christenson and Great Grandson Hudson Hake.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, Kansas with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.

A burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.
