Tony Wayne Smith, 68 years of age, of Concordia passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Sunset Nursing Center in Concordia.

He was born on December 13, 1956, in Hornersville, Missouri to Harold and Josephine (Hurst) Smith.

He received his GED upon entering the Army.  Tony served in the United States Army during peacetime and was honorably discharged.  He also served in the Army National Guard.

He married Vickie Lynn Hoffman on November 22, 1974 in Colorado. They were united in marriage for 50 years.

His hobbies include building and restoring cars, music, drawing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Tony was a member of the Marmaduke Baptist Church and Concordia American Legion.

Tony is survived by his wife, Vickie, of Concordia, son, Michael Smith (Debby) Bloomfield, MO; daughter, Danielle Montgomery, Jonesboro, AR; son, Jacob Smith, granddaughter, Amber Lynn Smith, Paragold, AR; grandson, Erich Smith, Piggott, AR; grandson, Mathew Singleton (Ariel), of Tennessee; granddaughter, Kylie Montgomery; great-granddaughter, Novalee Smith, sister, Darla Smith, Salem, AR; sister, Pamela Abbott, West Plains, MO; brother-in-law, Rick Simpson and Jenny of Concordia, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Wayne Smith who was laid to rest on February 7, 1998 in Hornersville Missouri & his mother, Josephine Smith who was laid to rest in 2015 in Mountain Home, Arkansas; his granddaughter, Chantel Smith and a  grandson, Logan McLaughlin.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Military honors will be provided in honor of Tony's service.
