Virginia "Ginny" Thoman, age 84, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Mount Joseph Senior Community, Concordia, KS.  She was born Virginia Marie Ray on July 7, 1923 in Webb City, Missouri to Bill and Marie Fields Ray. She married Delmer Thoman in October of 1946. He survives the home. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Concordia, KS.  She is survived by her husband, Delmer, of Concordia, KS; Sons: Delmer Thoman, Jr. and wife Judy, Manhattan, KS; Kent Thoman, Rex GA; Chris Thoman and wife Carla, Concordia, KS; Jack Thoman and wife Janice, Thornton, CO; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 1- sister, and 1- brother.  Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Helen Moore Schroeder officiating.  Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5-7PM.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice.
