Vivian Janette Garrison, age 74, of Glasco, Kansas, went to be with Her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Nicol Home in Glasco, Kansas.   She was born on September 22, 1948 in Malvern, Arkansas to Gene and Martha (Barnes) Garrison.

Janette attended school at North Side High in Ft. Worth, Texas.

She worked as a phlebotomist and in the health care industry for many years until her retirement in January of 2012.

Janette enjoyed sewing, country music, shooting pool, dancing, bowling and most of all spending time in her home.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Allred, Concordia, KS; Michell Thompson and (Chris), Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughter, Camri Tidwell, Ft. Worth, TX; her three great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Genesiz, and Isaac; a brother, Norman Garrison and (Carol) Ft. Worth, TX; and many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Martha, son-in-law, Billy Allred, and her favorite Aunt Uvie Vincent.

It was Janette's wishes to be cremated and the family will have a Celebration of Life service at the Open Door Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas on April 22, 2023.
