at the age of 92. He attended District 40 grade school and served in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII from 1942-1945 and was stationed in
England
. He married Elsie Trost on April 9, 1950 at the Huscher UMC. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2006. Walter was a lifelong farmer in
Cloud
County
. He was a long time member of the Huscher UMC, serving in numerous church responsibilities over the years. He was a Farm Bureau member, a life member of American Legion Post #76 and VFW Post #588, and also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cloud County Soil Conservation District. He is survived by his son, John Morgan & wife Linda, Spicewood, TX; grandchildren, Jeffery Morgan, Concordia, KS, Jeret Morgan, Highlands Ranch, CO, Charla Henry & husband Brett, Manhattan, KS, William Morgan, Spicewood, TX and fiancée Carla Spradling, Mesquite, TX, & Amelia Morgan, Manhattan, KS; great grandchildren, Kiersten & Sean Morgan, Concordia, KS and daughter in law, Janet Giersch & husband Mel, Concordia, KS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie; son, Dean Morgan & his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wed., April 4, 2012 at the
