Wanda V. Graham was born on June 14, 1919 in Barrhead, Alberta, Canada to Frank E. and Johanna V. Pyonkowski Barton. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Mercy Regional Health Center, Manhattan, KS at the age of 88. She graduated from Barrhead High School in Canada. She married Rollo Clayton Graham on April 23, 1945 in Concordia, KS. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1992. She was a supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until her retirement in the spring of 1981. She was a member of the Southwestern Telephone Pioneers, AARP, VFW Aux. #588, Moose Lodge #1428 and a former ELKS Club member. She is survived by her son, Michael Graham and fiancé, Jacquinita Rose, Palmdale, CA; former daughter in law and care giver, Susan Kice; grandchildren; Mitchell A. Graham, Lawrence, KS and Kathleen A. Graham, Manhattan, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollo; her parents and 3 brothers, Stanley, Frank & William Barton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS with Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 9 AM to 9 PM with the family greeting friends from 6-7 PM Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS. The family suggests memorials to Cloud County Community College or the American Heart Assoc.
