Obituary
Yvonne Irene Linder, age 57, entered into rest, Friday, November 30, 2018, Medicalodge of Clay Center, Kansas. She was born August 3, 1961 in Washington, Kansas to Norman and Olive (Pixler) Valeka, Sr..
Yvonne was a 1979 graduate of Clyde High School. She was also a graduate of Cloud County Community College. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Clay County Medical Center and other area Nursing Homes.
Yvonne enjoyed gardening, bowling and most of all spending time with her family.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Holly Fischer (Matt), Talmage, KS.; Grace Linder, Manhattan, KS.; Jeremy Cameron (Jessica), McLouth, KS.; mother, Olive Valeka, Clyde, KS.; sisters, Traci Wilton Brooks, Down, KS.; Edie Byrd, Derby, KS.; brother, Todd Valeka , Clifton, KS.; 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Sr., brothers, Norman, Jr., Freddie Byrd and Marty Valeka.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
Cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later time in Mount Hope Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Meadowlark Hospice or Relay for Life c/o Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
